It was one ...I voted for To Kill a Mockingbird too. It was one of the ones that replaced favorites that weren't on their list. And yes, the NPR list includes many books that I think are MG and not YA.Brandyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12105770016693038906noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7364116677912521674.post-34426831825992088742012-07-29T11:42:44.739-04:002012-07-29T11:42:44.739-04:00Oooh--we had way different lists this time--no dou...Oooh--we had way different lists this time--no doubt because you've read more of this genre than have I :-). OF COURSE, the Queen's Thief made my list as did Code Name Verity. I debated about Chime, but it ended up getting cut from my vote. And, since I'm not the record keeper you are, I can't remember all of the ones I voted for! The list was HUGE! I did include Tolkien (not the Hobbit--THAT's not YA (sigh)). I think I also included To Kill a Mockingbird. Some of the books on that poll are definitely not YA (um, Wrinkle in Time?), so even if they were faves of mine, I didn't vote for them on this poll....Betsyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07455311167085049395noreply@blogger.com
