I appear to be back. I remain hopeful. I enjoyed reading this month, and I read A LOT. I'm not quite ready to start throwing confetti in celebration yet as I had a good January last year too. This one was even better though. Here's hoping February is as successful!

I learned long ago not to worry about the pressure of blogging. The blog will wait for me. Last year I just didn't want to read at all. It was so weird and the first time in a long life as a reader that it happened. The fact that I want to actually pick up a book again is exciting for its own sake.
But you are absolutely right about the need for self care and not letting what is really just a hobby overtake the other parts one one's life.
