ReReadathon 2013

ReReadathon is the brainchild of Bookshelvers Anonymous. Since we get so busy as bloggers reading new books for review we often do not have time to reread old favorites. I know I certainly do less of that since I started blogging. Here is an opportunity to challenge each other to make some time. I personally think this a marvelous idea. Shelver may just be a genius.

What I plan to reread:
The King of Attolia by Megan Whalen Turner
A Conspiracy of Kings by Megan Whalen Turner
The Girl of Fire and Thorns by Rae Carson
The Crown of Embers by Rae Carson
Meant to Be by Lauren Morrill
Wildwood Dancing by Juliet Marillier
The Dragon's Tooth by N.D. Wilson
The Drowned Vault by N.D. Wilson
The Dalemark Quartet by Diana Wynne Jones

I don't know how successful I will be. I'm still working on the Summer Series Challenge as well. And I really have made no headway there. Ah well.

I've reviewed most of the above books on the blog already. The exceptions are the Megan Whalen Turner books, which are too precious to me to review (can't do it), and Wildwood Dancing. I'm hoping that this will be a good opportunity to review the latter.

  1. I'm starting a reread of The Harry Potter books. (With a few other books scattered in). I've got my child on board for book one, but I think I'm on my own after that.

    1. I just finished reading all the HP books to my daughter. Loved sharing her first HP experience with her and getting to reread them myself. Hope I can do the same with my son when he's ready for them. My daughter is rereading them all right now.

  2. I need to re-read Conspiracy too! I've only read it just the once....My copy of Spellcoats, however (which is my favorite Dalemark one) I read to pieces. Love that book.

    1. I've read Conspiracy twice but only because the first time was out loud to my husband on a car trip. He didn't think it was fair that I got to read it first. I love Spellcoats too but I love Drowned Ammet slightly more. Mitt is my favorite.

  3. Yay! So glad you've officially joined, Brandy.

Also, I think I'll print out the words "Shelver may just be a genius" and tape them to my wall in large font. :D
