TTT: Favorite Endings

This week's TTT topic is Favorite Beginnings/Endings.

I did a My Favorite Things post on Beginnings a couple of years ago and my favorites haven't changed, so I'm going to concentrate on endings. Since I'm focusing solely on endings I'm just going to give the book cover and no other information.

  1. I went with beginnings for this week because I didn't want to mention spoilers. What you did with just book covers is great though. Love The Queen of Attolia and Ella Enchanted. I still need to read more Dorothy Sayers and Connie Willis.

    1. Yes you do!!! The end of Gaudy Night is actually very similar to that of QoA. Lots of parallels between those two couples.

  2. Half of these books are on my wishlist! They're the titles I keep meaning to read, but never seem to get around to. I'm going on a Megan Whalen Turner binge very soon though, so I'm looking forward to seeing how The Queen of Attolia ends. Thanks for sharing, Brandy! :)

    1. I read the first three Megan Whalen Turner books in two weeks, two and three were back to back. I have never had a book hangover like that one, and don't think I will again. ENJOY!

  3. I've only read a few of these (loved Doll Bones!) -- I've had Connie Willis's Blackout on my shelf for ages and haven't gotten to it yet, but I know I need to read that one and All Clear!

  4. Oh, I loved the ending in Ella Enchanted! Such a sweet book (too bad the movie was horrendous!) that I will read again and again.

    Great list!

    1. The movie truly is horrendous. My students read the book a couple of years ago and several of them watched the movie after. They are STILL telling me about how awful they thought it was. :)
